LOYOLA, Santa Clara County — The City of Los Altos maintains an adopted streetscape design for Loyola Corners, an area closely associated with the broader Loyola name but governed by city rather than unincorporated county rules.
The city’s official adopted-plans directory includes the Loyola Corners Streetscape Final Design alongside its Complete Streets Master Plan and other citywide planning documents. Such streetscape design material addresses pedestrian routes, public space and the appearance of a neighborhood commercial district. The inclusion of a plan in the directory does not prove all proposed streetscape elements are currently built or funded.
Residents should also recognize that nearby unincorporated Loyola has different county government, fire-service and land-use responsibilities. A city streetscape plan cannot be treated as a county-issued construction notice for every property carrying the Loyola name. The distinction affects questions about road maintenance, permits and how to submit feedback.
What local residents should know
People asking about a specific corner or sidewalk should verify whether the parcel is inside Los Altos city limits, then contact the appropriate city or Santa Clara County office with the location and concerns.
